Sendera is a community of homes in Southwest Austin, Texas near the intersection of MoPac and Slaughter Lane. Neighborhood amenities include a community pool and a playground and picnic area. Homes for sale in Sendera were generally built between 1995 and 2004. Home sizes range from roughly 1,500 square feet to around 2,800, with an average size of around 2,000 square feet. The Sendera Austin neighborhood is served by the Austin Independent School District, and students attend Bowie High School and either Covington or Bailey Middle School. Cowan Elementary is the primary elementary school for the Sendera area (note: check with AISD, as this can change year to year). The community is a part of the Sendera Homeowners Association, and does have HOA dues for all residents. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is located nearby. Sendera real estate has some great shopping and dining nearby. Nearby grocery options include a Randall's at Slaughter and Brodie and an HEB at Slaughter and Escarpment, both of which are less than 5 minutes from the neighborhood. A Whole Foods Market is nearby at William Cannon and MoPac. The popular Alamo Drafthouse movie theater is minutes away, as are restaurants like North By Northwest.
