Hyde Park is one of Austin's oldest and most historic neighborhoods. A
majority of homes in the area were built in the 1910's to the 1950's.

There are a number of red lights, but Hyde Park residents don't have to
use I-35 or MoPac to reach downtown, so they avoid many of Austin's
worst traffic headaches! How long does it take to commute downtown from Hyde Park?
Hyde Park is a mere 4 miles from downtown, and drivers can get there
